make WHAT HAS TO HAPPEN, HAPPEN by TODAY

The colored and boldly written words in our AVP's memo flash in my mind. All the hullaballoo is only because somebody somewhere in the 8th or top floor offices at EDSA messed up an otherwise smooth procedure. Now the Regional Heads (me included) are being accused of sitting on the problem. They (EDSA people) conducted a meeting with our subagent and committed on certain details without cascading these commitments to the (Regional) people who are tasked to deliver. (FYI, we are a telecommunication service provider and money remittance agent, mind you.). And now they are blaming the regions for sitting on the problem? Why are we being hounded for their lapses?

Maybe this is a valuable lesson to everyone about "working on the details" so that things happen correctly. Things don't happen by chance, people make them happen.
