Started the day early so we could order the food for lunch. It's Kyle's graduation from pre-school today and we decided to bring some food to his A-mah's house to be shared with the Tito, Titas and cousins. It wasn't much. Just enough to celebrate the special day. Kyle received presents from his Si-ko and Sa-ko and was extremely excited about his new toy "Crush Gear" (the new craze these days after the Beyblades).

We got to school at the appointed time, 330pm and saw some friends there. His teacher, Madam Sarza rushed towards me to ask about Kyle. I said he was ok. Then what she said came as another surprise to me. She said Kyle fainted (for the second time) last Friday while they were onstage singing the Pambansang Awit. Together with the department head, she said they ran to where Kyle was and saw that he was already up after falling on his knees. Not taking any chances, they brought him to the clinic to have him rest. When he was up to it, they transferred him to a cooler place. They noticed that it was really warm where he was originally located. As I stood there listening to her, I swore I would bring him to his pediatrician on Monday or Tuesday to have Kyle tested some more. His EEG result two weeks ago was normal so there must be something else about him that needs to be attended to. The whole graduation ceremony, our eyes were glued to him as we silently hoped and prayed that no fainting episode will occur again.

We were glad to watch him sing together with his classmates the songs I Can't Smile Without You and Only Selfless Love. Then the awarding of the medals followed and we were just so proud of him! It was his second academic/conduct medal! He was also part of a select group of students who regaled the parents and guests with their melody horns. A little before 6pm, the distribution of diploma was over. We all had snacks at the City Sports Club courtesy of Kyle's A-ko.
