Pag-Aaral

Manila Ocean Park
Sunday afternoon of June 8, 2008, we braved the hundreds upon hundreds of people waiting in line to get inside the Manila Ocean Park. We waited for at least an hour for our number to be flashed before we were allowed in... P400/person is quite a stiff price to pay but since we were in Manila for the weekend, and we wanted to see something we haven't seen before, we decided to splurge a bit....

Itay
"Itay"
Pook: Maribago Bluewaters Beach, Cebu
Petsa: Feb. 6. 2005
Happy Fathers' Day sa lahat!

Photo Recap - Day 1 & 2
Shots courtesy of Jerry and Junnie...
Moi with rents and sibs
Last Thursday, I took the 545PM flight from Cebu to Manila with the 3 sons in tow. I'm glad Jake is old enough to be walking by himself and carrying his own stuff. During times he wouldn't keep still at the airport, my 2 teenage sons were (at my beck and call) ready to assist.
Upon reaching our destination past dinner time, the adults let the kids be and drove to Bonifacio High for a night cap, as if the flight didn't render us tired and sleepy.... and as if I had the next day off.
The following day was my scheduled site visit. Last minute revisions to the layout were made, all for the best and hopefully not compromising the look we intend to have. Good to be able to discuss space requirements with Jerome.
Coffee with Mafe at the Podium
Posed for one more shot before calling it a day
Maximizing Friday, we drove from Ortigas to Makati to meet up with friends (Jo and Mike) at Travel Cafe for dinner. It was here that we feasted on good food, ginormous halo-halo for dessert and the famed coffee alamid from civet cat droppings.
Junnie and his cup of coffee alamid, which I also got to taste :D
When in Manila, do what Manilans do and stay up till the wee hours to party. However, much as I wanted to, the coffee alamid wasn't strong enough to keep me up... Off i went to sleep with my work clothes on even before we could drive past Makati.

Kalayaan

Powered by L-Carnitine
One time while reading about the benefits of L-Carnitine, a natural compound produced by the body...
ME: One of its benefits is to boost one's energy
HUBS: Really?
ME: You know, even if I don't lose weight by taking my L-Carnitine (diet pill) supplement, the energy boost it gives me is enough reason I should keep taking it. It gives me the same energy as what caffeine does. Good huh? (That's me, rationalizing again.)
(Jake barged into the room. He was running and shouting, jumping and then running again and seemed hyper-active over something)
HUBS: There should be a way to harness Jake's L-Carnitine. He seems to have an excessive amount of it! :P
I chuckled and nodded in agreement as Jake zipped out of the room as fast and as boisterous as he came in.

Pag-iisang Dibdib
