On top of my government remittance reports and other regular paperwork, I did the following today:
1. Administered tests to 4 applicants
2. Interviewed 3
3. Hired 1
The person we hired this afternoon had a standing offer from Accenture but she chose to sign up with us. Hmm. Says much about our company huh?
She's our employee #19. ;)
Not really. Maybe Employee No. 19 feels at home going around a relatively small office. Kelan nga pala ang transfer ninyo to a bigger, more spacious one?
ReplyDeleteYour staff is increasing. That means more work and ergo more income(?! Be sure your Office is making HASTE slowly. :-)
We will start renovation next week. Our geomancer already found an auspicious date to start it. We will be occupying 1/4 of a floor in the new bldg. :D
ReplyDeleteIt's good for 60 devs. We hope to fill the place within the year ;) God-willing.
"More work" muna, "more income" will just follow. Important thing is we enjoy what we do. Pero mukhang malapit na yung more income :D.
hi linnor..masarap din minsan to be part of a new and growing organization..to be there when it all starts. it was like taht for me for my first 3 jobs. nakakadiskarte and your opinions are heard :)
ReplyDeleteall the best in the coming developments.
HI JOJO!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I agree. While the organization is small, the culture is solid. It's more like family and less corporate. Easier to get close with the other employees as well...
