I just got hold of the SunStar Newspaper and was thrilled
with the news for 2 reasons:
1. that a Cebuano placed third in the doctors' board exams
2. and that the Cebuano 3rd placer is Jerry's 1st degree cousin!

ReplyDeleteHI MEEYAGIRL!
ReplyDeleteImagine what the mom must be feeling having a topnotcher for a son!
We hope to inspire our own kids by this and make their tito a role-model... :D
Got her through pinayhekmi's blog. Congrats btw!
ReplyDeleteHI CHASE!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting! :D I enjoyed checking your site out ;).
i had a quick look at the topnotchers' list, and i could not believe what i saw. most of the topnotchers came from medical schools outside the big universities. it is an indication that the newer schools have improved tremendously in terms of giving quality education, or the bigger schools have deteriorated. i wonder now, how many of those doctors will either become nurses and leave for abroad.
ReplyDeleteHI SEXY MOM!
ReplyDeleteI share the same thoughts actually. I have friends and acquaintances who started as doctors in the Philippines and decided to become nurses in the USA. One even said how she used to be addressed as "doktora" or "ma'am" in the Phils and now she's the one addressing her colleagues those names....
