This year, we decided to drive to the north of Cebu to see their churches. We left after lunch and thought we'd just go as far as Sogod before turning back to the city to catch the 6PM mass.
The weather started perfect but as we reached Danao, it became overcast. From the coastline, the water looked rough. There was drizzle. Inspite of it all, we managed to see some parts of the beautiful countryside of northern Cebu province and visit two churches - in Danao and Liloan.
Plus, what made the roadtrip more special is the fact that we made it with the kids' Lola, my Mom, who saw more of Cebu for the first time.
Wow kainggit kayo! Ang ganda ng Visita Iglesia ninyo!
ReplyDeleteYesterday, my Knights of Columbus Council 9636 members and I acted as Honor Guards during the Washing of the Feet, Mass and repose of the Blessed Sacrament.
Today, Good Friday,we attended in the Reflection on the 7 Last Words, Veneration of the Cross and the well-attended Procession with 15 carrosas participating from Philamlife Village passing through the main road, right to Citimotors, right to Gloria Diaz Avenue of BF Resort Village then back to the Church.
Distance from Church was about four kilometers but no one was complaining because all those who joined wanted to share a bit in the passion and death of our Lord and Savior.
HI PAPARAZZI!
ReplyDeleteNatakot na si Mamarazzi na tumuloy sa mas malayo. Di na kami tumuloy further after Sogod. Maybe next time, papayag syang abutin namin hanggang Bantayan. Hehehe...
4 kilometers?! I hope you didn't exhaust your heart too much. Sabagay, anything for the Lord. :)
