Today...
6:00 - Jerry drove the boys to the bus stop.
7:00 - We got ready for bath / breakfast.
7:30 - Jake woke up.
8:00 - I played and spent time with Jake while Jerry did some paperwork.
8:30 - Jake took a bath while Jerry & I went to pick up a check from Sta. Lucia then proceeded to work.
9:00 - Both Jerry and I were in the office...
Everything's pretty normal...We managed emails, answered phone calls, had short meetings, set appointments, updated status reports, coordinated with team/counterparts via IRC, YM and Google talk....
10:45 - Jerry barged into my office in a state of surprise....
I looked at him in bewilderment as he spoke, his voice in attempted whisper but sounded more like a scream : "Nor... WE FORGOT JAKE!!!"
(Jake's class starts at 10 and ends at 12).
haha, so Jake missed school today? ahay, bakit nyo naman sya nakalimutan? :)
ReplyDeleteHI FENG!
ReplyDeleteGraveh! No excuses dear... We totally forgot!
Yup he missed school today and we're totally to blame for that. Hehehe...
uh-oh!!!!
ReplyDeletehindi ba kayo napagalitan...ng anak nyo? :D
HI JOJO!
ReplyDeleteJerry called from work just a while ago. Jake answered the phone and said: "Pa, Jake not go to school!"
If he said it in a happy or a reprimanding tone, I could only wonder. :D
hahaha... it's jake's day today!
ReplyDeleteits funny that you both forgot about jake... never happen to me before, and hope it doesn't happen to me at all.
HI JO!
ReplyDeleteIt did feel weird that we both forgot the time... Haay, getting old AND forgetful... Often, one of us will remind the other of important stuff.
When we got home today, Jake said, "You did not bring me to school". And he didn't look too happy about it. Hehehe.
your kwento left me thinking that you actually left him in the shower...haha!
ReplyDeletewhat excuse did you give to Jake's teacher, i wonder? ;)
haha, this is hilarious! i wonder what's jake's excuse letter would say, hehehe...
ReplyDeleteHI LEAH!
ReplyDeleteOo nga ano? Sorry for the confusion. Hehehe... I failed to mention that his nanny gave him a bath. :D
HI RUTH!
Hehehe.... No excuse letter required (yata?) for his Nursery school.
aha! with all your gadgets, not one was made to ding you to not forget your cute youngest son!
ReplyDeletetsk tsk tsk...is work too heavy it makes you busy? hope not.
HI JUNNIE!
ReplyDeleteLet's just say Jerry and I both thought that one of us would remember, so both of us ended up being complacent about the sched. Hayun tuloy. :D
hahaha! kaaliw kasi super organised yung time tapos biglang naiwan si jake. :)
ReplyDeleteHI DENDEN!
ReplyDeleteKorek! Just when you think you're on top of everything, something like this happens. Hahaay...
That happened too during Jesus time when He got lost in Jerusalem. Mary thought He was with Joseph while he thought Jesus was with Mary. Remember?
ReplyDeleteHindi na lang kasi nag text sa isa't isa! :-)
HI PAPARAZZI!
ReplyDeleteRight. Now hat's a perfect example! Kaso in our case, we didn't have to text each other, we were in the same office separated only by a wall. Hehehe.
inay ko po!!! oh my. :D pero its good that you were able to find humor in this. ang cool niyo talaga. :) kung sa akin nangyari yun, it would've taken an instant 10 years off of my life span, hehe.
ReplyDeleteHI MEEYA!
ReplyDeletePero that didn't escape my 3yo ha. :P Kinastigo kami ni Jake when we called and again when we got home that day. Hahaha!
