Why They're Here

Pa, Ma, sis May and niece Zia are in town this week for three reasons:

1. It is our Lola Meding's (my maternal grandmother) 93rd birthday (May 20th).
2. We are celebrating several relatives' successful campaign for elected posts in Surigao.
3. They're excited to see the new place Jerry & I renovated and moved into.

    Kyle definitely has your smile while Matt's likens his dad's. Can't say about Jake; parang half-n-half. Belated Happy Birthday to 'Lola' Meding. Glad election in Cebu went rather smooth (except for Bogo and Lapu-lapu).

    Election in Cebu has always been relatively peaceful. If ever there were election-related violence, these are just isolated incidents.

    Jake looks a lot like Matt when Matt was 3yo. I would guess he'd be Jerry's carbon copy when he gets bigger. Matt is the only one who's "singkit". :D

    It's a small townhouse. About the same size of our old condo. So we only had a few big pieces. Pero wag ka, we still have crates of bric-a-brac that need to be unpacked. Yikes! Dahan-dahan na lang siguro.
