Without the Boys
Kyle: "Where are you going?"
Matt: "How come you're dressed weird?"
All these questioning right before Jerry and I headed out the door last night (Saturday) for a few drinks at Z, the Tinder Box and at Formo...
... without them! Yessss!
---
Or perhaps they really found me dressed weird (?)... Grrr.

This has been one long week for me with some days stretching to 14 hours of work time... It's that time of the year when auditors are poring into the company's records to check / vouch that everything is in order prior to tax season.
To make things more challenging, we are beating other deadlines too. And the US counterparts are arriving before month-end.
Exciting times indeed.
I'm packing my things now. I'm calling it a day. Time to re-charge and head off to the spa for a good massage.
Tomorrow and the coming week will be another story.

80s

I just had a peek at Nostalgia Manila's new posts and saw a photo of a pair of Tretorn. In an instant it brought back memories of my university days...
Luckily, I had digital copies of some of my old photos on my hard drive... So if you're not too busy, you're invited to have a good laugh at how I looked more than 20 years ago. (Hehehe.... yeah, that long ago).
Hmm.. might be good to have this as a meme. Why not post an old photo (yours) on your blog and invite me to view it. Then you could invite others to do the same thing.
So flashback to the 1980's.... here's me.

Street-food

What's your fancy?
Photo was taken during the December fair at the boys' school. We felt kinda brave enough to try the ambulant vendor's tempura. Half-worried about risking an infection, we dared to eat the ubiquitous street-food.
Perhaps seeing how we enjoyed the fare, soon the other students and parents followed. :D Heh...

Just one of my snap-happy moments taking random shots of whatever and whoever. Photo was taken the day before Christmas... after spending most of the Christmas break in the mall... or attending parties...
This scene is a common sight during weekends as well...
Vacation officially ends today. And tomorrow, the boys go back to school.
Hehehe... I could almost hear them groan. :D

What could be more important than having these boys in our lives? Perhaps we momentarily lost sight of our most important goal as parents due to other pursuits (work, finances, etc.)... For 2008, we are re-focusing our energies to spend as much quality time as we could with our growing boys.
