The Little Plant
In the heart of a seed
Buried deep so deep
A dear little plant
Lay fast asleep
Wake, said the sunshine
Creep to the light
Wake, said the voice
of the raindrops bright
The little plant heard
And it rose to see
What a wonderful sight
The outside world might be
This shy 3.5 years old Superman memorized the poem above... Hear him below and be amused at how he managed to know it by heart... Check out the video...
And on Nov. 23, he will be competing against other Nursery 1 students for the Voice of Children presentation. Winner or not on Friday, he is still our little hero.

ReplyDeletethe little plant and Jake's story is parallel to each other...he was once our family's little plant...now he is competing against fellow nursery classmates...and in his cape and briefs worn outside his pants - he will save the world!!!

That Superman costume was worn during their Book Week though I don't recall having seen a book about Superman.... comics was more like it. Hehehe...
my gosh, linnor! this was the very same poem i first memorized as a kid ever (and i entered a poem-reading contest with it too)! hanggang ngayon memorized ko pa siya, hahaha!

Hahaha... He was the one who chose the Superman costume from the rest. Katawa coz I bought this after Halloween. Di sya na-maximize. :P
